CALL MEETING TO ORDER

 

Supervisor Staub Spiegel called the 10/03/07 Town Board Special meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

 

USE OF GENERAL EQUIPMENT TYPE CAPITAL RESERVE FUNDS SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM FOR PURCHASE OF A NEW COMPUTER SERVER SYSTEM FOR TOWN OFFICES

Councilor Cathy Devins made a motion to adopt the following resolution, seconded by Councilor Jerry Deno.       

 

5 ayes, 0 noes. Motion carried. Ayes - Councilor Marinus Rovers, Councilor Jerry Deno, Councilor Cathy Devins, Councilor Donald Trombly and Supervisor Staub Spiegel. Noes - 0.

 

WHEREAS, the present Town computers are having problems and are not on a server system; and

 

WHEREAS, the Supervisor, requests authorization to purchase a new computer server system;

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chazy Town Board does hereby authorize the Supervisor to purchase, a new computer server system for approx. $9,618.00 of which would come from the General Equipment Type Capital Reserve Fund, subject to permissive referendum; and

 

            FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk advertise, in the Press-Republican a notice of adoption of resolution subject to permissive referendum, authorizing use of General Equipment Type Capital Reserve Funds to purchase a new computer server system not exceeding $9,618.00 for such purposes.

NOTICE OF BUDGET MEETING

The Supervisor of the Town of Chazy has called for a Special Town Board Meeting on Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of said meeting is to discuss the Tentative 2008 Budget and anything else that may come up. The meeting is open to the public.
