NOTICE

The Supervisor of the Town of Chazy has called for a Work Shop Town Board Meeting, at the Chazy Town Hall, 9631 Rt. 9, to be held on Monday June 23, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of said meeting is to discuss various issues of Town business. The public is welcome to observe.

CALL TO ORDER

Supervisor Staub Spiegel called the 06/23/08 Town Board Work Session to order at 5:34 PM for the purpose of discussing Town business.

SOME ITEMS DISCUSSED:

Sciota Rec. Park – will meet at Rec. Park on Monday July 7, 2008 at 5:30 pm.

Availability of Beekmantown Central School owned West Chazy Elementary school for possible Town use.

Progress on the construction of Chazy Rec. Park bathroom

Availability of prison crews for Town projects.

Small storage shed requested by John Munson for West Chazy ball fields.

Loyal Badger Jr. would like to be authorized to mow side of sidewalks in Sciota on a volunteer basis. The State DOT will need to be contacted, as Rte 22 is a State Road.

Town credit card policy

Furnace replacement at the West Chazy Town Hall, oil verses propane and possibility of JCEO helping defray the costs.

Possibility of inviting Sen. Betty Little to come and explain the tax situation

Town Hall renovation possibilities
