Supervisor Staub Spiegel called the 07/11/2011 Regular Town
Board meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
MINUTES
Councilor Donald Trombly made a motion that the minutes of the 06/13/2011 regular Town Board meeting be approved as submitted by the Town Clerk, seconded by Councilor Cathy Devins.

County Legislator Tom Sears reports that the sales tax income is approximately
$875,624.00 more than the projected amount for this time of the year.

terminated. Sup. Spiegel in receipt of letter thanking the Town for the use of
the Town Hall. They are now going to use the Church hall in hopes to generate
more interest.

Use of tennis courts in West Chazy. They are being
used.
SUPERVISOR ITEMS

Staub Spiegel reports:

Robert Cheeseman, Town Historian, will attend the 197th
anniversary of the War of 1812 festivities in Plattsburgh on September 10,
2011.

Results of summer camps – Thanks to Tom
Tetreault and other volunteers that helped with the camps. 40 – 45 attended
the boys baseball camp, approx. 20 the girls softball camp, approx. 27 the
reading camp and approx. 23 the street hockey camp.

Ingraham road – update
á
We are in the last year on the copier contract. We
can lease a new copier from SymQuest that will be a color copier and will
correlate and staple for an extra $50/month.
RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION ON NEW VAULT USING GENERAL TOWN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
TYPE CAPITAL RESERVE FUNDS SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

WHEREAS, resolution number 10-97, 09/13/2010 was passed by
the Town Board authorizing construction on a new vault;
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chazy Town Board does hereby authorize the
afore said construction on a new vault at a cost of not more than $5,000.00, of
which would come from the General Town Building Construction Type Capital
reserve fund, subject to permissive referendum; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk
advertise, in the Press-Republican a notice of adoption of resolution subject
to permissive referendum, authorizing use of General Town Building Construction
Type Capital reserve funds for such construction, not exceeding $5,000.00.

the lease agreement with the current copier is coming to an end;
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chazy Town Board does hereby authorize the
Supervisor to enter into and sign a five year agreement with SymQuest to lease
a new copier for approx. $286.52 per month.
