The Town Board of Chazy is proud to present our new website to our current residents and to people from around the world.

Chazy was born in 1804. Chazy consist of three hamlets, Chazy, West Chazy, and Sciota. We are located only six miles from the Canadian Border in Upstate New York. We are only twenty minutes North of Plattsburgh, one hour south of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and one hour west of Burlington, Vermont. Chazy is a rural community consisting of approximately 4200 residents. We are largely an agricultural community and are fortunate to be nestled closely to beautiful Lake Champlain.

It is our goal to provide a innovative source, to learn more about what Chazy has to offer, to allow those enjoying our site to see the workings of our meetings, to access upcoming events in our community, to be able to print documents that are regularly used by our current and newly arrived or visiting residents, to allow you to know our community leaders and how to contact them, to share current and historical photos and information that we hope you will enjoy and learn from. We hope you enjoy our site and reach out for suggestions for further enhancement.
