CALL MEETING TO ORDER

Supervisor Staub Spiegel called the 12/29/08 Year End Town Board meeting to order at 3:00 PM.

A legal notice was placed in the official newspaper on 12/17/2008 as follows:

NOTICE OF YEAR END MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Chazy will conduct a year end meeting at the Chazy Town Hall, 9631 Rte 9, Chazy New York at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2008. Purpose of meeting is to audit year end claims and any other business that should come up.

APPOINTMENT PLANNING BOARD/DONALD GREEN

Councilor Donald Trombly made a motion to adopt the following resolution, seconded by Councilor Christopher Latremore.

Discussion: Yes.

4 ayes, 0 noes, 1 absent. Motion carried. Ayes - Councilor Christopher Latremore, Councilor Jerry Deno, Councilor Donald Trombly and Supervisor Staub Spiegel. Noes - 0. Absent - Councilor Cathy Devins.

WHEREAS, a Planning Board term expires for member Donald (Tre) F. Green III, on 12/31/2008;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Chazy Town Board does hereby re-appoint Donald (Tre) F. Green III to a five (5) year term on the Town of Chazy Planning Board ending on December 31, 2013.

2008 SEWER DISTRICT FUND BUDGET MODIFICATION

Councilor Jerry Deno made a motion to adopt the following resolution, seconded by Councilor Christopher Latremore.

WHEREAS, an appropriation account needs to be modified;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chazy Town Board does hereby authorize the following Sewer district fund, 2008 Budget modification, to show an added unexpended balance of $6,610.00 and add $6,610.00 to appropriation account 8110.09.004.00.

2008 WATER DISTRICT FUND BUDGET MODIFICATION

Councilor Donald Trombly made a motion to adopt the following resolution, seconded by Councilor Christopher Latremore.

Discussion:

WHEREAS, an appropriation account needs to be modified;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chazy Town Board does hereby authorize the following Water district fund, 2008 Budget modification, to show an added unexpended balance of $3,304.00 and add $3,304.00 to appropriation account 8310.08.004.00.
